After graduating from University of Toronto with a degree in digital communications, Marcus Armstrong decided to follow his passion for filmmaking and embark on his freelance directing, cinematography and editing journey.

 

Since then, Marcus has been fortunate enough to work on some amazing projects including the National Black Film Festival 2020 nominated

documentary, Cool Black North, the Emancipation Day 2021 Virtual Event film in partnership with the National Film Board, and a number of other independent projects that have helped sharpen his filmmaking skills. In January of 2020, Marcus decided to take all that he has learned throughout his years of on-set training and create Introspective Films. It is through Introspective Films that Marcus aspires to continue growing his passion for visual storytelling while also helping businesses and artists tell their

story in a more compelling and visually pleasing way.
