
Sheronna Osbourne
Sheronna Osbourne is a Canadian director, actress, writer, and producer whose work explores bold, character-driven narratives that center Black voices. Beginning her career in Toronto’s IATSE costume department in 2009, she has since built a diverse body of work as a filmmaker.

Her films include Silence of the Land (2020), Roni (Audience Award, Toronto Short Film Festival), Out of Order (2021), and Remote Paradise (2023), which was selected by CaribbeanTales International Film Festival and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. In 2025, she partnered with Creative Futures Collective and Soho House as a mentor, where she wrote
and directed the biopic short Don’t Worry Be Happy for a young fashion designer.

A recipient of the Black Women Film! Big Up Producer Residency, Osbourne is also the founder of Sow What Now Media, a production company amplifying diverse voices through film and storytelling. She is currently developing her first feature film.
